Artisan Built Communities is proud to have a stellar team of employees focused on turning clients' new home dreams into reality. From the community sales and construction teams to the office staff and company principals, the Artisan Built team considers itself a family, and we're excited to introduce a new member today.
Meet Tyler Brookshire, current New Home Sales Agent for Heritage Pointe at The Georgian and soon-to-be Lead Agent for Artisan Built's newest community, Salacoa in Calhoun. Considering Brookshire's extensive construction background, no one knows homes quite like him.
Before getting into real estate, he worked in heavy commercial electrical construction, as well as residential grading and heavy equipment operations. He also built custom windows and doors. In search of a more challenging career to support his family, he obtained his real estate license in 2022. Brookshire started his career at Keller Williams Signature Partners before joining the Artisan Built Communities team last year.
"My son has motivated me in my career," says Brookshire, "My mission is to make a stable income to be able to support him in whatever he chooses to do."
Tyler spends his workday following up with prospective buyers, giving tours of communities and floor plans, and taking pictures of homes to update buyers. For Brookshire, helping people build the homes of their dreams makes the job rewarding.
When everything goes well with prospective clients, he writes up new construction agreements that seal the deal on clients' dream homes.
It can be daunting to go from meeting to signing an agreement, which is why Brookshire enjoys helping buyers find their perfect fit and keeping them informed about their new home. He works with the construction team to give buyers accurate timelines and updates that ease those concerns.
Brookshire said, "Being able to get wonderful people into their forever home, that is a feeling unlike much else because it can be a life-changing moment for them."
Brookshire enjoys working for Artisan Built Communities because the company cares for its employees just as much as its product. He also notes that the job challenges him to learn new skills every day.
"Not only do you have to be a listing agent, but you also must act as a designer, builder, landscaper, and sometimes therapist," Brookshire says.
His role requires him to be the face of everything clients want to know about Artisan Built, its communities and its homes, and he graciously accepts the challenge. Well-informed and well-spoken are his top two qualities for success with clients, but his background in many aspects of the construction industry contributes, too.
Outside of the office, he maintains a very active lifestyle. He spends his weekends at the gym and outdoors with his family on Lake Allatoona.
